Asheville, North Carolina is often called Beer City, USA for good reason. The number of brewery options is mind blowing! The Visitor Center at the Asheville airport has a brewery guide which includes a map of all of the brewery areas. Visitors can pick an area and walk around to several breweries in the area. This is a great way to experience the weird culture of Asheville. The city is known for being different than the surrounding smaller towns. The community embraces being different and visitors will likely see the quote “Stay Weird” around the city.
