Rescue Baby Sea Turtles

Help rescue these adorable and sometimes endangered sea creatures. There are organizations around the world with programs that you can participate in to help rescue baby sea turtles

There are many ways to help rescue sea turtles. Participate in the release of sea turtles back into the ocean.   Volunteer with an organization that rescues, rehabilitates both wild turtles and turtles kept as pets. Donate to a turtle sanctuary.
Many sea turtle programs around the world have volunteers and visitors help release newly hatched baby turtles back into the ocean. For many, it can be a life changing moment as you watch your baby turtle crawl along the sand slowly making its way along the beach leaving tiny tracks.
In most areas around the world turtles are caught in fishing gear putting stress on turtle populations.   The sea turtle breeding habitat has also been dramatically reduced from human encroachment.  In many places turtle eggs are foraged for food by local communities.

Here are a few places that you can visit or help in rescuing sea turtles.

Sea Turtle Inc.
