Florida is home to hundreds of beautiful springs and each has unique qualities. Most offer an area for swimming and snorkeling. Many offer kayak/paddle rentals (or a free launch) and camping. And some offer activities like tubing or cave diving. Some springs are free, while others have a modest entry fee and others are quite expensive. There is a Florida spring for everyone it seems. Here are a few examples:

Poe Springs – can be accessed for free by land and water, it is quiet, has a swimming area and also has an underwater cave.

Ichetucknee Springs – is accessed for a small fee but offers many activities. Visitors can swim in the headsprings, try to dive into the Blue Hole (underwater cave) or can rent kayaks/paddleboards/tubes to go down the river.

Manatee Springs – is accessed for a small fee and offers swimming in the head springs and kayak rentals with access to the Suwanee River. It also offers and underwater cave.

Rainbow Springs – is accessed for a small fee and offers a large swimming area and rentals with access to the river. There are also tubing options.

Three Sisters Springs – is unique in that visitors can only access the water in the springs via the water (kayaking/paddleboarding/swimming). Visitors can view the springs from a boardwalk entrance, but can not access the water from the board walk. For visitors wanting to access the water one can paddle from Hunter Springs nearby for free.
