Rocky Mountain Gray Wolves

The animals in our care, are part of a captive breeding program meant to reintroduce critical genetics to the wild. As a result, all of the animals in our care are kept as wild as possible and we do not offer any interactions with the wolves. Instead, guests attend a presentation in our conference center followed by a guided observation of two of our ambassador packs. We observe the animals from the viewing area, just behind a fence. We offer three basic tour types, they all follow a similar format.
Wolf Recovery Today tour are held Saturdays and Sundays and can accommodate as many as 60 guests from the public.
Wolf Pack tours are available Mondays and Fridays and are limited to a maximum of 20 guests.
Finally, we offer private tours and school groups during the week, based on availability.
Reservations are required for all visits, as we’re not set up for folks to just drop in. Reservations can be made on our website at californiawolfcenter.org
